Learning and IQ Assessments

Are you concerned that your child is not learning at the same level as other kids their age? We provide comprehensive learning assessments to assess for overall cognitive ability (IQ) and specific learning disorders to get to the bottom of why your child is having difficulties.

  • Learning disorders can only be diagnosed if the child has had a solid period of evidence based intervention targeting their specific area of difficulty.

We provide comprehensive educational assessments for:

  • Specific Learning Disorders in Reading (known as dyslexia)

  • Specific Learning Disorders in Written Expression (known as dygraphia)

  • Specific Learning Disorders in Mathematics (known as dyscalculia)

  • Overall cognitive profile

  • Comprehensive Executive Function Inventory (CEFI)

  • Adaptive Behaviour Assessment System (ABAS-3)

  • Vinelands Adaptive Behaviour Scales (Vinelands 3)


All Assessments include:​

  • An individual assessment with your child

  • Comprehensive clinical interview with parents/caregivers

  • Questionnaires and feedback from school and involved therapists

  • Review of reports regarding your child from involved professionals

  • Feedback from the assessing clinician on the results of the assessment
