Our Services

What to expect from an assessment:

Child Assessment Clinic is neuro-affirming in that we know that there is no one-size-fits-all approach. We are flexible in our approach and work in collaboration with our clients to conduct our assessments in a way that suits them.

Assessments are generally completed in one appointment that may last for as long as 4-6 hours. From each assessment you receive a compre
hensive report detailing assessment results, diagnosis (if applicable) and recommendations to support your child. Our reports are often used to support applications for NDIS funding.

Assessments generally include :

  • An individual assessment with your child

  • Comprehensive clinical interview with parents/caregivers

  • Questionnaires and feedback from school and involved therapists

  • Review of reports regarding your child from involved professionals

  • Feedback from the assessing clinician on the results of the assessment
