Providing Comprehensive and Neurodivergence-affirming Learning
and Developmental Assessments for
Children and Adolescents.

The Process
Child Assessment Clinic is neuro-affirming in that we know that there is no one-size-fits-all approach. We are flexible in our approach and work in collaboration with our clients to conduct our assessments in a way that suits them.
2
Phone Call
Finding the right support shouldn't be another hurdle. We offer a free 15–20 minute clinical consultation to ensure we are the right match for your needs before you commit to an assessment.

After the phone call, we will send you an email with our recommended assessment and further information.

If phone calls are tricky, please let us know your preferred method of communication. We are happy to accommodate.
3
Book your Appointment
If you're ready to proceed after reviewing our initial email, we work with you to find a suitable date for the assessment.

Once scheduled, we'll send a confirmation email and the necessary pre-appointment paperwork.
4
Attend your Appointment
Our assessments are usually completed in one day over 4-6 hours.
Each assessment includes:
-
Review of paperwork and reports from school/daycare
-
A standardised assessment with your child
-
A comprehensive clinical interview with parents/carers
-
Feedback and specific recommendations
-
A comprehensive report suitable for NDIS and school.
