Autism assessments
Autism spectrum is a neurodevelopmental difference often affecting the way a person experiences the world and their interactions with others. Some people on the autism spectrum may have differences in their communication skills, interests, sensory needs, learning profile. Everyone on the Autism Spectrum is difference and a diagnosis can be helpful in better understanding your child and their needs. We provide comprehensive evidence-based autism assessments tailored to your child or young person.
Learning and AD/HD assessments
Are you concerned that your child is not learning at the same level as other kids their age? We provide comprehensive learning assessments to assess for overall cognitive ability, learning disorders (e.g dyslexia) and developmental differences (such as AD/HD) to get to the bottom of why your child is having difficulties.

-
A child needs to be at least 6 years old before a diagnosis of ADHD will be considered.

-
Learning disorders can only be diagnosed if the child has had a solid period of evidence based intervention targeting their specific area of difficulty.
Prior to school assessment
We provide assessments for children with and without developmental differences in the year before they start school to help better understand their learning profile and provide guidance on the best class-type for them. This type of assessment can also assess for Intellectual Disability.
Early Development Assessments
Sometimes young children do not meet their early developmental milestones within the expected timeframes for known or unknown reasons. While every child is different and develops at their own pace, a developmental assessment can give you an idea of your child’s developmental profile across learning, speech and language, hand-eye coordination, personal and social skills and gross motor skills. This type of assessment can also assess for the presence of a Global Developmental Delay. We provide general developmental assessments for children as young as 12 months.
